Hone Family Spring Vacation- Day 1

Hone Family Spring Vacation was a blast!!! We did a stay vacation!!! We stayed in a awesome hotel in West Valley City!!! We chose that hotel because of the pool! It was awesome! It had slides and a big covered water slide that went outside! The kids loved the pool!!! On our first day we left on a Thursday around 11:00 a.m. and headed to Ogden to the Ogden Nature Center! What a FUN place to go and hike! We started our hike headed to the big treehouse. On the way we found bear caves that kids thought were cool! Since there had been so much rain that week alot of the trails were flooded. We were troopers trying to make it to the treehouse. Needless to say since we did not have our water gear on. We did not make it. It was starting to thunder and lighting so we had to head back to the car. We barley made it to the car before it started to rain, but from walking through the water our shoes, socks, and the bottoms of our pants were soaked! So we went to the Burger Bar in Roy and ate lunch. Then we headed for home to change our shoes, socks, and pants. Then we headed to the hotel to check in and off to Fat Cats we went to eat Pizza, bowl, and play the arcades!!! By the time we got back to the hotel we were so tired. We went to bed. A fun first day of Spring Vacation!!!
